Tiedemann's "Try Tech" Night

We will be holding a “Try Tech” night at Farmingdale State College during which you will have an opportunity to “test drive” a set of technical diving Scuba unit and a deco bottle.
 You must register for this session by calling the shop at 516-796-6560.

We are getting back to the "bridge" on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. We have a nice early slack tide.

DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving
Tuesday, September 16th - 7:30pm

Our DAN Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Provider Course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public in recognizing possible dive related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility.  Excellent course for all you Stress & Rescue Divers!!!

CPR, AED & First Aid for Adults
Wednesday, September 17th & 24th - 7:30pm

Our new combined CPR, AED and First Aid for Adults course is good for 2 years. DiveCons, Instructors (or in training) and Stress/Rescue Divers need to be up-to-date and re-certified on your CPR skills on a regular basis.  This is a 2-evening course.

DAN First Aid for Hazardous Marine Injuries

Our First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course is designed to provide knowledge regarding specific types of marine creature injuries and the general first aid treatment for those injuries.

DAN On-Site Neurological Assessment
Monday, September 29th - 7:30pm

This DAN Course focuses on how to obtain essential information about a diver involved in a dive emergency. This information will be useful to help the dive physician understand the extent of the injury and how it has changed in the time it took to get the diver from the dive site to definitive care.
